Durapac SAFE-D-LOCK: TRY before BUY
The Problem:
The client wanted a product to change dump truck tyres.
The Solution:
SAFE-D-LOCK unit from Durapac was loaned out for repetitive work changing dump truck tyres for just over a week. Carrying out multiple lifts throughout the day.
In this particular instance pictured the CAT789B dump truck with a net weight of just over 123 tonne was no problem for the single Durapac™ SAFE-D-LOCK™ unit # SDL-15096. 150 ton capacity with 980mm collapsed height and a no extension required.
The Result:
All operators were impressed using the jack compared to their old unit and noted the following advantages in their assessment:
- Manoeuvrability using the forklift lift points
- Heavy duty and robust pendant
- Bonnet protector to keep everything protected
- Safety advantage of being able to lock the load
- Converting the jack to a stand via the push of a button by standing outside of harm’s way
