Maus MG Series Tube Expanders (3 Rolls) for Heat Exchangers and Condenser Tubes (Made in Italy)
The MG-series variable depth tube expanders have been designed for rolling tubes in heat exchangers.
- They are driven by pneumatic or electric rolling machines with torque control produced by Maus Italia.
As with all Maus Italia products the MG-series tube expanders are of the highest quality:
- Made of special tempered and case-hardened alloy steels.
- Fitted with an adjustable thrust collar with ball-thrust bearing.
- All rolling surfaces ground: 1 mandrel and 3 rolls.
- Self-locking nut and washer is fitted on the frontal of the mandrel to stop it from unscrewing out of the cage.

MG/1200 Series (Short Rolls) Tubes
Long adjustable depth tube expanders for large thickness tubesheet.
- Tubes with external diameter from 12.7 to 38.1 mm (1/2" to 1.1/2")
- Adjustable standard depth from 12.7 to 127.0 mm (1/2" to 5")
- Extra elongation up to 228.6 mm (9") on the B version and up to 279.4 mm (11") on the C version
- Extra elongation up to 406.4 mm (16") on the "16" version and up to 508.0 mm (20") on the "20" version
- Roller length 38.1 mm (1.1/2")

- Tubes with external diameter from 15.9 to 38.1 mm (5/8" to 1.1/2")
- Adjustable depth from 31.8 to 57.1 mm (1.1/4" to 2.1/4")

- Extra elongation up to 247.6 mm (9.3/4") on the B version and up to 298.4 mm (11.3/4") on the C version
- Extra elongation up to 406.4 mm (16") on the "16" version and up to 508.0 mm (20") on the "20" version
- Roller length 57.1 mm (2.1/4")
