Podger Spanners or Ratchet Spanners are tools usually in the form of a short bar, usually tapered one end and ratchet wrench the other. They are used for assembly/construction of steel fabrications, the pointed end is used to align the bolt holes while the spanner end is used to tighten the nuts.
